Istanbul Aydın University Inventory Control Office was established in 2011 to ensure that the operations and procedures regarding the university's fixed assets and consumables are carried out in an orderly, transparent, and effective manner. Our unit contributes to the administrative functioning of the university by fulfilling the duties of recording movable properties, planning inventory processes, and systematically tracking material entry and exit movements. Operating under the General Secretariat in line with the institutional structure, the Inventory Control Office continuously develops its scope of duties and responsibilities, maintaining a holistic inventory management system that covers all units of the university.
As a result of comprehensive inventory studies, all fixed assets and consumables belonging to the university have been recorded; thus, the planned, regular, and effective management of corporate resources has been ensured, and standard inventory practices have been disseminated throughout the institution.
The Inventory Control Office is responsible for carrying out the registration processes of materials needed by academic and administrative units, performing stock tracking, coordinating assignment and transfer processes, conducting counting and control activities, and improving inventory management processes in accordance with relevant legislation. The primary objective of our unit is to ensure that university resources are managed with accurate, up-to-date, and reliable records, to effectively control material movements, to increase efficiency in resource utilization, and to support the sustainability of corporate operations. In this regard, the Inventory Control Office continues to add value to the administrative processes of the university with its systematic working approach and a service perspective based on continuous development.
