II. HALİT AYDIN SCIENCE AND RESEARCH AWARDS
WRITTEN WORKS COMPETITION
(2017-2018)
The second of the "Halit Aydın Science and Research Awards," which was first held in 2015 by the Social Research Application and Research Center (TARMER) of Istanbul Aydın University and announced to be held biannually, was announced in 2017, with the final submission deadline of 31 December 2017. The competition is titled "Factors Affecting Divorce in Turkey in the Last Five Years and Its Results."
Due to the demand for additional time, the competition deadline has been extended by one month and set as January 31, 2017, with a total of 31 works submitted. The competition aims to highlight the causes and consequences of divorce, which negatively affect our society, and has set the following prize distribution: First prize: 25,000 TL, second prize: 15,000 TL, third prize: 10,000 TL.
The jury, led by Prof. Dr. Kâzım Yetiş, Chair of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Istanbul Aydın University, completed the evaluations on 15.05.2018. The ranking is as follows:
