Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The main purpose of the on-site application activity is; It aims to help students consolidate the knowledge, skills and competencies they have acquired during their education by practicing in the sector in a field they are interested in during their education, and to gain work experience, thus facilitating their adaptation to business life.
Course Content Activities related to on-site application; On-site Practice Coordination is planned and carried out together with the student's advisors at the institution and the officer at the workplace where the on-site practice is carried out. These activities include learning and practice activities for students to gain practical experience by taking part in studies carried out in their fields, based on a work environment where on-site practice is carried out. At the end of the on-site practice activity, the student submits a written report prepared in accordance with IAU's "On-Site Practice Directive" and approved by the workplace where the on-site practice was carried out, to the department or program to which he/she is affiliated.

Weekly Course Subjects

1Completion of bureaucratic procedures between the institution and the university where the on-site application will be carried out.
2Completion of the student's orientation.
3Conducting a basic level study related to the field.
4Taking responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen complex problems encountered in applications related to the field.
5Evaluating the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the field.
6Carrying out activities within the framework of a project
7Identifying and meeting learning needs related to the field
8Midterm exam - Continue Practice
9Establishing the relationship between the lessons taken and the applications and meeting the problems encountered in the applications with the lessons taught in the program.
10Use of information and communication technologies along with the computer software required by the field.
11Expressing thoughts through written and verbal communication at the level of basic knowledge and skills on subjects related to the field.
12Sharing thoughts and solutions to problems in the field with experts.
13​Ability to monitor information in the field and communicate with colleagues using a foreign language.
14Preparing reports to solve problems that may be encountered in practice.
