ECEM YÜKSEL

I was born in Istanbul on January 22, 1995. I completed my primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. In 2014, I was accepted into the Pathology Laboratory Techniques program at Istanbul Aydın University. My love and interest in my field were evident in my early years at university. Since my freshman year, I had always dreamed of pursuing both hospital work and academic advancement in my profession. After graduating from Istanbul Aydın University in 2016, I was accepted into the Radiotherapy Department at Beykent University the same year and graduated in 2018. After completing my internships at Istanbul Education and Research Hospital and Florence Nightingale Hospital, I began working as a Pathology Laboratory Technician at Istanbul Education and Research Hospital. Aiming to work at my university and further my academic career, I began working as a Pathology Laboratory Technician/Lab Manager at Istanbul Aydın University in 2019. I then completed my undergraduate education in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Anadolu University's Faculty of Economics. In 2023, I began my master's degree in Health Management at our institution and my undergraduate degree in Sociology at Anadolu University. I graduated with a master's degree in Health Management in 2025. I have been proud to be a part of the Istanbul Aydın University family since 2019.

OĞUZHAN AY

I graduated from the Pathology Laboratory Techniques program at Istanbul Aydın University's School of Health Services in 2023. During my student years, I gained valuable professional experience through internships at various institutions, including Şişli Etfal, Haseki, Bayrampaşa State Hospital, and Ankara Bilkent City Hospital. I currently work as a pathology technician at Medipol Mega University Hospital, working in the macroscopy unit. My interest in pathology began during my student years. As I realized that this field has both a detailed and life-saving aspect, my commitment to the profession grew. Revealing the unseen and contributing to an accurate diagnosis is truly meaningful. Learning something new every day and improving myself in this field motivates me. Therefore, working in pathology has become not just a job for me, but also a passion.

ESMA ARSLAN

I graduated from the Pathology Laboratory Techniques program at Istanbul Aydın University's School of Health Services in 2021. During my two-year university education, I sought out both my professors and my social circle to learn how I could improve myself in my field. I completed an internship at Yeni Yüzyıl University Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital. This period helped me gain a deeper understanding of my field. I was pleasantly surprised and intrigued by the fact that the Pathology Department offers services in more departments and areas than I had anticipated. Immediately after graduation, I was hired at the institution where I interned. I have continuously improved my skills and continue to improve myself in immunohistochemistry and cytotechnology, among many other areas. I continue to work at the same institution.

İDAL KOŞAR

I'm İdal Koşar, and I graduated from Istanbul Aydın University's Department of Pathology Technicianship in 2024. Throughout my education, I've had the opportunity to build a solid foundation thanks to the hands-on laboratory facilities and internship opportunities offered by my university. I've gained valuable knowledge and experience in many areas, from pathological examination processes and tissue analysis to laboratory safety and molecular techniques. However, my desire to learn motivated me to pursue a more advanced path. Therefore, I took the Vertical Transfer Exam and transferred to Istanbul Kültür University's Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate education in this field with great enthusiasm and success. In the future, I aim to work in the healthcare field through genetics.
