MUSTAFA YAMALI' 15
I was born in Istanbul in 1995. I completed my high school education at Istanbul Bahçelievler Erkan Avcı Anatolian Vocational High School (2013).
My high school education focused on professional knowledge and practical courses. I also had the opportunity to complete three days of on-site internships per week in 12th grade. These internships fueled my interest and enthusiasm for the field of electrical and electronics. My love and passion for the profession have added significant value to my academic career.
In 2013, I enrolled in Istanbul Aydın University's Anadolu BİL Vocational School Electronics Technology Associate Degree Program and completed it in 2015. After graduating from Istanbul Aydın University, I was accepted to my desired engineering program, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (English) Program at Istanbul Aydın University's Faculty of Engineering, through the Vertical Transfer Exam, and successfully completed this program (2015-2019).
During my six years at Istanbul Aydın University, I was aware that social activities, projects, and social interaction were as important as academic knowledge. As an active, social, and globally oriented student, I successfully completed both my associate and undergraduate degrees (receiving a High Achievement Award) in 2015. During this time, I completed my internships at internship locations directed by the IAU Career Center and On-Site Application Center (IUM), confidently advancing my academic and business career plans. I also participated in part-time work related to my profession throughout my education.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I maintained constant contact with the IAU Alumni Association throughout the job search process. The opportunities they provided to graduating students, their interest, and their commitment were admirable.
During this period, I began my career as a paid teacher in the Electrical and Electronics Department at the Anatolian Vocational High School (Kayaşehir AML - EML) and taught for 4-5 months (2019-2020).
In 2020, I started working as a Project Engineer at Metro Taşımacılık A.Ş. (Istanbul Informatics and Smart City Systems), a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. Together with my team, we were responsible for all electrical and electronic work items, such as electrical power systems, energy systems, station lighting, and escalators for the Istanbul metro and tram lines. I served as a Project Engineer until 2022 and was later appointed Project Manager (2020-2022).
During this period, I completed my master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety at Kütahya Dumlupınar University Graduate Education Institute, actively working on field and construction sites.
As of March 2022, I achieved my long-held dream of becoming a graduate student. I opened my own business using my professional experience, knowledge, and network. Currently, my company, operating under the name YAMAN GROUP, employs three people. We are progressing step by step towards our goals, aiming to become a leading company in the engineering, software, construction, tourism, and automotive sectors. To ensure our company's growth and customer satisfaction, we strive to keep ourselves and our team up-to-date by undergoing continuous training. Our core philosophy is to establish a lasting reputation in the business sector by providing customer satisfaction and the best service. Furthermore, we are delighted to have achieved our goal of adding value to our country with domestically produced and nationally recognized software.
I would like to emphasize once again that the most important asset throughout my academic and business careers has been experience and quality. In addition to academic education, being socially well-equipped and constantly keeping ourselves updated are the fundamental elements that enable us to achieve our goals in business.
