Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Technician is the person working in the construction of orthoses applied to body parts that need to be functionally supported, protected, and corrected in case of limb loss such as hands, arms, legs, artificial limbs (prosthesis)He is responsible for taking patient measurements for prosthetic-orthosis construction, manipulating the acquired measurement model and biomechanical settings for the prosthesis or orthosis.
