<p>​<span style="text-align: justify;">The winners of the traditional 30</span><sup style="text-align: justify;">th</sup><span style="text-align: justify;"> Young Communicators Competition, organized by Journalists&#39; Association for Turkey and Aydın Doğan Foundation to award undergraduate students studying at the communication faculties of universities, was held in order to contribute to the training of qualified media employees and managers.</span></p><p>&#160;</p><p>Sebahat Çağla Kara, a third year student in journalism department, came third in the &quot;News Research&quot; branch with her article titled &quot;Oynamaya Geldik Oynamaya&quot; published in the 9^th issue of the journal GÖZ in the field of &#39;written&#39; in the contest. Kara also serves as a reporter for GÖZ magazine published by Istanbul Aydın News Agency under the consultancy of Instructor Kayıhan Güven.</p><p>&#160;</p><p>486 students from the communication faculties of 37 universities participated in the competition with 537 studies, and 59 students from 21 universities were found worthy of an award with 43 projects. The award ceremony was held at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel. Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Deniz Akbulut as the representative of our faculty, Head of the Department of Journalism Asst. Prof. Olcay Uçak, Journalists&#39; Association of Turkey member Engin Başçı and IAHA team participated in the ceremony.&#160;</p>
