<p>​</p><p style="text-align: justify;">One of the biggest foundation universities in Turkey, Istanbul Aydın University is the only university from Turkey participating at the project themed <strong>&quot;Incidence of Coronavirus Crisis on National and International Legal Arrangements&quot;</strong>,<strong> </strong>about new type of coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) affecting the whole world for more than one year, organized by Prof Dr. Mohammed MATTAR from Qatar University in Doha, Qatar, and 27 universities participated from 23 countries.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>LEGAL PRECAUTIONS TOWARDS COVID-19</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Law Academicand Project coordinator Prof. Dr. Ufuk Aydın said: &quot;It is an honour for us that only Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Law participates in the project from Turkey. Precautions against COVID-19 pandemic and effects of them especially in the field of law were addressed within the project. And we are representing our country in the best way. Our international cooperations will continue growing in every field.&quot;</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>&quot;STUDENTS ARE ESSENTIALLY MANAGING THE PROJECT&quot;</strong></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Reporting IAU is having 8 students and a research assistant in the &quot;Incidence of Coronavirus Crisis on National and International Legal Arrangements&quot; themed project, Prof. Dr. Aydın said: &quot;We can say that students are essentially managing the project. Researcher Assistant Melis Kutlu and I are providing the coordination. Precautions against COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of them in the field of law, and other things to do in participated countries were addressed within the project. Every University is working on one of the five topics they selected. As our field is labour and social security law, we have chosen this topic. The project launch will be online with an international symposium on 30 November 2020. Prepared reports and texts will be sent to Qatar University until 14 December 2020. This will be published as a report and proceedings book on 31 December 2021.&quot;</p>
