European Super League is Totally Mind-Blowing State

Academician and trainer Selçuk Tarakcı made evaluation on “European Super League” that the first 12 clubs of the Europe constituted by leaving European Club Association. Tarakcı remarked “totally mind-blowing state” for the enterprise.

European Super League that 12 teams from England, Spain and Italy leagues constituted and caused great disputes on sports public opinion, got reactions from many segments especially UEFA and FIFA. And, the separation of the 6 teams from English Premier League, brought a new dimension to the process."HOW THEY CAN OVERTAKE THOSE MATCHES?"Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Sports Sciences Academic Member Dr. Selçuk Tarakcı defined European Super League enterprise as "totally mind-blowing state" and stated "Even though we throw everything to wind, for instance, English Premier League teams are playing 38 matches in their leagues. In addition to this, keeping in mind that the European Super League with 20 teams is double half-time, yet matches will be in European Super League as well. While technical directors such as Klopp, Guardiola, Mourinho are complaining about the current number of matches are too many, how productive the football players are expected to be in such constitution." "IT WILL TURN OUT TO CIRCUS SHOW"Tarakcı said "An organization that will be organized in spite of institutions such as UEFA and FIFA, will turn out to a circus show instead of football. The ones who enter into this constitution, will see this just as a show business and make the game out of football as they see the colour of money. Can not these superior minds that decide everything, start to make pressures to the teams such as 'If you do not play like this, get more balls' in the next terms and start the do it yourself model? They chose the teams. Will not these superior minds that decide who will be changed and who will stay at the league, how many teams from which country will participate certainly, interfere teams, players, and method of game?""EVERYTHING STARTED WHEN THE FIRST CLUB BEING SOLD"Tarakcı stated "While UEFA and FIFA organizations please football greatly in every respect and maintain justly, the only reason why this constitution was occurred is 'money'. Actually, everything started when the first club being sold. I believe that capitalism which is contrary to the spirit of football and agaze the football grounds, does not respect the spirit of the most popular game in the world. Because, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez who leads this constitution, ensures 300 billion Pound annual revenue to the participant clubs. He touches the sore points of the clubs that have financial loss during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Also, they have JP Morgan support. It is very clear that club owners are thinking about only money with such organization.""FOOTBALL PLAYERS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS"Tarakcı remarked "Actually, the most annoying issue is the statement of EUFA and FIFA that the teams participate in this constitution will not play in national teams. Football players have nothing to do with this. The main point is the club owners. Besides, they have shown that they do not care about international football with participating in this constitution. Thus, Florentino Perez has shown that how it can go through an utopic point by saying 'We can even organize our own World Cup'. I, personally, expect more severe sanctions on the basis of club. Because, as long as the club owners continue to act like playing Monopoly and pay too much to football players that do not worth this much under normal conditions, and deficiencies occurred in resources due to they have money to burn under the name of competition, they only think about themselves by consulting such constitution.""TURKISH FOOTBALL IS PATHETIC, THUS THERE IS NO INVITATION"Tarakcı stated "The reason why teams from Turkey were not invited to European Super League is Turkish football's current condition is 'pathetic'. I don't believe that Turkey has nothing to do in this condition except written reactions. Now, a common public opinion is responded because any Turkish team was not invited. I wouldn't want to think about the chaos comprised if any of our teams was invited. For instance, what sanctions the Federation will apply if invited club wants to go? Or can it be? What will be future of our National Team players in that club? Even now, while our players in Europe make us brood on, where this can go with an invitation of such constitution? I think things can go out of hand at this point especially at the supporter reaction dimensions in our country. Because we are not mature yet to discuss these issues."THE WORKERS OF FOOTBALL SAVED FOOTBALL"Tarakcı interpreted clubs that participate in the constitution from English Premier League, withdraw from the constitution as result of reactions of supporters and public opinion, as 'Workers of football saved football' and stated "This situation showed us it is not possible to cross some limits in the presence of the world. The power occurred with the cooperation of politicians, journalists, and players and supporters which are the actual owners of football, caused handful moneybags to be belittled heavily. The actual owners of football clearly knew that the main purpose was 'strong teams no longer want to play with weaker teams' in this constitution made under the name of 'more cash inflow to sector and development' by receiving JP Morgan's support. Actually, this condition is nothing more than contrariety to origins of football, culture of the game, and its progress. This constitution being stop with the government and supporter pressure showed that the final word still belongs to the actual owners of football. Arsenal club made statement 'We are sorry, we made mistake', Chelsea supporters stopped team bus before the match played yesterday and caused the match to start 15 minutes late with the slogans 'we want our Chelsea back'. These clubs which are very powerful over the years, are at the weakest point due to the issues occurred now. Club owners, investors and presidents attempting this constitution clearly know that they can not sweep over supporters. They now know that when this sport is threatened, along with the supporters the government will also intervene this issue and the last word belongs to FIFA and UEFA. Consequently, the workers of football saved football."
