<p>​</p><p>&#160;</p><p>The student of <strong>Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Cartoon and Animation, İrem Karaoğlu</strong> who is currently studying in <strong>Kauno Kolegija</strong>-Lithuania by way of <strong>&quot;Erasmus+&quot;</strong> achieved an important success. Participating in the official logo competition for the <strong>FIBA European Woman (U16) Basketball Championship</strong> that will be organized by <strong>Kaunas Municipality</strong> in <strong>Kaunas</strong> which is Lithuania&#39;s second largest city between <strong>17-25 August 2018</strong>, İrem Karaoğlu&#39;s sketch received the highest number of votes and came in first. </p><p><strong>IT IS THE OFFICIAL LOGO OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p>There were more than 45 works presented to the competition for the best logo of Women&#39;s European Championship. All the works were created by the students of the <strong>Department of Design of J. Vienožinskis Faculty of Arts.</strong>&#160;<strong>İrem </strong><strong></strong><strong>Karaoğlu</strong>&#39;s logo was elected by basketball fans in the survey that was carried out in www.kaunodiena.lt, which is the official partner of the Championship and the logo is going to be used as <strong>the official logo</strong> at all the materials of the Championship. </p><p><strong>&quot;I DID&#39;T EXPECT TO WIN&quot;</strong></p><p><strong>İrem Karaoğlu</strong> says that she didn&#39;t expect to win: &quot;I am very happy and excited to be nominated as the best. I was trying to depict Lithuania, Kaunas, femininity, youth in my logo, and I think, I did it&quot;. The student says she enjoys experimenting with colors &quot;I was inspired by the old town of Kaunas.
