IAU is proud of bringing another international success story to fruition

A charrette is an intensive, collaborative process that brings together students, community members, and professionals to develop innovative solutions for complex issues.

Over a few short days of brainstorming, discussion, and expert consultation, teams create a broad range of ideas around a central theme. This year, Istanbul Aydin University has been privileged to have been one and only participating Turkish university of this event. Our Students Mihriban Çiçek and Seçkin Atalay from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, and Yağmur Aysan from the Faculty of Fine Arts were nominated to be representatives in Charette 2016. On top of that, the grand prize is awarded to the best teamwork called" The Dead Come Alive" where Yağmur Aysan achieved successful results in both learning and creating ideas as a part of the Team. So that, we are proud of bringing another international success story to fruition. A special ceremony was organized for the students, and they received their certificates from our Rector Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli and other respected Professors. As an International Short Term Study Programs Office, we are proud to provide these kinds of interactive programs that keep our students both educated and motivated.
