As Aydın TÖMER, we are teaching Turkish in the context of communicative model to our students. In this context, the aim is not to teach grammar-oriented language to students but to teach languages that are communicative-oriented, that is, they can actively use Turkish language in daily life. During this language teaching process, students are given equal importance to their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills and lessons are planned taking into account the relevant competencies in the context of the European Language Framework Text. In addition to these, grammatical information is explained by direct impulse. In the assesment and evaluation process which is an important part of language teaching, examinations are based on these four basic language skills. In order to improve the speaking skills of the students, in addition to the classes, speaking, writing clubs and various activities are organized for the students to use the Turkish language properly.
