Course Description: This online course introduces students to some of the major issues in international politics with a focus on Eurasia. It will first discuss major theoretical perspectives in international relations. Then, it will focus on topics such as diplomacy, foreign policy, international organizations and international migration. Next, the course will focus on case studies such as the foreign policies of Iran, Turkey and Russia. The course will be conducted through online lectures by scholars, online forums and readings.

It would help you demonstrate your proficiency when applying to positions in international organizations, or for enrolling in graduate programs in Political Science and International Relations.
Learning outcomes: By the end of the two-week course, students will have acquired basic theoretical knowledge in international relations, diplomacy and migration. They will also be able to apply this knowledge to specific cases, such as the foreign policies of particular countries and international organizations. They will also gain basic knowledge about some of the current issues in international politics.
Who can participate: The course is open to undergraduate and graduate students in the social sciences, humanities, political science, international relations and journalism.
Prerequisites: Students should have taken an introductory level political science or international relations course.
