Information Announcement About Istanbul Aydın University 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester.
Our university will start the 2021-2022 academic year face-to-face on September 27, 2021.
Based on the decision taken at the meeting of the Presidential Cabinet on August 19, 2021, the decisions of the Senate of our University are as follows:
1- The education of the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year, of Associate, Undergraduate, and Graduate programs of our university, will be given FACE to FACE and ONLINE.
2- According to the proposal offered by academic departments and with the approval of the Senate of our University "Distance Education Classes" will be carried out online.
3- Applied courses can be carried out face to face alternately or diluted, taking into account the course of the pandemic, with the decision to be taken by the authorized committees of the relevant departments and the approval of the University Senate.
4- To minimize dilution in our classes and campus, all days of the week (except Sunday) the daytime education courses will be extended to 22:00 for face-to-face education.
5- The rules about the mask, cleaning, and distance in all areas from the entrance of our university campus should be obeyed.
6- In our university, it has been decided that the joint compulsory courses (Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution, Information Technologies, English – I, Turkish Language – I) and university elective courses will be held in a supervised online environment, and the exams of other online and face-to-face courses will be conducted face-to-face.
7- According to the characteristics of the courses, assessment and evaluation methods can also be done with homework, projects, presentations, quizzes, and process evaluation,
8- The attendance requirement of the students will be in effect for both face-to-face and online courses as part of the legislative requirement.
9- HES code control from all our Academic, Administrative staff, Students, Parents, and visitors at the entrance to our University Campuses is required.
10- In this context, having had a COVID-19 vaccination is required, and those who did not have vaccination have to submit a negative PCR test performed no more than 72 hours before their entry.
11- International students who cannot enter our country from abroad due to the global pandemic conditions, and students with chronic diseases or whose families are in the high-risk group, their requests for registration freeze will be evaluated by the relevant committees of the departments.
