International Staff Training Week at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Fachhochschule Dortmund

The International Office of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Fachhochschule Dortmund is pleased to announce first International Staff Training Week which will take place from 15th to 19th of October 2018.
Staff goes international

Under the motto "Staff goes international", they welcome colleagues from international (partner) universities worldwide working in international relations or human resources. The program will feature presentations, workshops and discussions around the topic of staff mobility as an integral part of HEI internationalization.
The staff week offers participants the opportunity to get to know Fachhochschule Dortmund as well as to present their university to international peers. In various sessions, the participants will be able to exchange best practice examples and develop new approaches for fostering knowledge transfer and mutual learning. After the event, all participants will receive a documentation of the results. Social and cultural events will accompany the program to offer further networking and cooperation potentials among our international guests.
Costs and funding
There will be a contribution fee of 100,- € per person which will include

  • Welcome luncheon
  • Networking dinner
  • Refreshments during breaks and lunches
  • Entrance fee for cultural program
  • Certificate of participation
  • Staff Week documentation

Participants are expected to cover their own travel expenses to and from Dortmund as well as their accommodation costs. The participation in the event can be funded by an Erasmus+ mobility grant through the sending institutions.
Online Registration Form will be open until 14th of September 2018-pre-registration until 15th of August 2018 (limited number of 20 participants), All accepted participants will receive a confirmation email until one week after their registration with further organizational details.
