Many scientists argue that this issue is very important and very useful, while some scientists say that it can be very harmful when it falls into the hands of malicious people in the future. So, what is artificial intelligence? Artificial intelligence is when a robot performs various movements similar to intelligent creatures. Another definition is that computers, robots, think and act like humans. We can also describe artificial intelligence as the ability of a computer system to perform functions such as visual perception, speaking, running, thinking, and decision-making in living things. When we look at the history of artificial intelligence, we see that it is as old as the history of the computer. The first founder of this is Alan TURING, who put forward the idea of ​​"Can machines also think" and caused controversy. Alan TURING is one of the famous mathematicians of the Nazis. Some of the scientists are in favor of artificial intelligence, while others claim that artificial intelligence will be a big problem for humans in the future. For example, Tesla founder Elon MUSK said, "I am concerned about developments in artificial intelligence." Again, the famous physicist Stephen HAWKING stated that "Artificial intelligence will be the last invention of humanity". In addition, Facebook Mark ZUCKERBERG said that he is in favor of artificial intelligence and that artificial intelligence will be very useful to people.

 

Prof. Dr. Naim AJLOUNI: When we talk about national security, we generally talk about keeping ourselves together within our borders. But since the world is now a global world, and especially because the USA is the biggest power in the world at the moment, the USA has nearly eight hundred bases in the world, in seventy countries. Therefore, we cannot talk only within our own borders, with the influence of the USA. As you know, the USA is right next to us in Iraq. Therefore, it is about what the US understands from security and what we should take from it, what share we should take. During the Obama presidency, the United States reduced the number of troops in the world by ninety percent. It also increased the number of drones tenfold. Of course, it is not easy for me to quantify, but as you can see, the number of drones that can attack has increased tenfold while the number of people has decreased. He also uses planes to use drones more effectively, and he can control it from his own planes. Thanks to drones or EDS cameras, we will have solved this problem. It is used for surveillance. We have a border in our Eastern Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia regions. Hakkari, Şırnak, Kars and so on, this border region of ours is not a straight line as you can see in your books and on the map. It is a mountainous area and there are endless mountains, plains, caves. In no way is it possible to manually control the people passing by. Most people might think, let's get it straight, it's not an easy task. With aerial surveillance, security may be possible here. Currently, patrol drone systems are being produced by our military units. Thanks to these, we will be able to see very lively and instantaneously the transitions of people and live transitions in a possible mobility or any live movement on our border.
