 Barista Training Program

Aim of the program:

With this training, you can learn every detail about the barista profession starting from the history of coffee culture and experience coffees producing by different methods and learning the results of each coffee. You can learn every detail from coffee beans, roasting, retail store operations to espresso-based practices, machine usage, and Turkish coffee.

Conditions for participate in the program:

Barista training is designed for people working in the coffee sector or aiming to build a career in this sector.

Content of the program:
Coffee culture, history, consumption, and drinking habits
Influence and cultivation of popular coffee types
Cultivation and formation of coffee fruit
Coffee fruit picking methods (harvesting methods)
Wet and dry coffee processing method
Choosing green coffee and its flaws
Coffee roasting methods
Coffee packaging methods
Tasting method (cupping)
Coffee grinding, dosing, tamping arts
Basic milk processing techniques
Product making
Machine usage and maintenance
Barista working area basic hygiene rules
Cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Post-training assessment
At the end of the training, those who succeed in the practice and written exam, certificate approved by rectorate will be given by academy.
