In cooperation with IAU Health Service Policies Application and Research Center & Faculty of Medicine, Biostatistics Specialist Prof. Lukman THALIB participated with the seminar "Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses: Understanding the Best Evidence in Healthcare and Public Health Policies". The seminar was held on June 29, 2022 at Halit Aydin Florya Campus in hybrit format.

The vice dean of IAU Faculty of Medicine, who chaired the seminar, Prof. Zeynep Çiğdem KAYACAN (MD), after introducing the invited speaker, thanked him for his participation and then Prof. Lukman THALIB continued with his presentation.

Carrying out his research studies at Griffith University and Istanbul Aydın University Medical Biostatistics Department, Prof. Lukman THALIB during the seminar issued the importance of "Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses" by giving significant examples from research studies and sharing detailed information in topics such as what is systematic review, narrative versus systematic review, meta-analyses (what-why and how), hierarchy of evidence and research design, supplementary database researches, data extraction with academicians and students. The seminar ended with questions from academicians and students.
