The opening of the Eurasian Higher Education Summit (Eurasian Higher Education Summit - EURIE), organized for the 8th time this year by the Eurasian Higher Education Union (EURAS), took place at Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center between March 1 and 3, 2023. To the summit; 154 speakers and 230 institutions from 72 countries, the world's distinguished universities, academics and leading representatives of the higher education sector participated.

At the summit, 54 panels were held under different topics. Among these panels, a panel titled "Transforming Professional Development in Medical Education Through Collaborative International Faculty and Student Development Programs", which is very important in terms of Internationalization in Medical Studies, was held on March 3. The opening speech of the panel was held under the chairmanship of the Faculty Member of IAU Faculty of Medicine English Program Medical Biology and Genetics Department and Health Policy Application and Research Center Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Arta FEJZULLAHU. Then, the panel continued with the presentations of invited speakers from Texas Tech University Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Sanja Kupesic Plavsic and Rijeka University Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Nina Pereza. The topics covered in the panel attended by the academicians and their suggestions were shared with the participants.
