As AFAM, we shared our knowledge and experience gained during the Project on Reducing Disaster Risks in Museums, which we carried out in cooperation with the Friends of Cultural Heritage Association and Batman University (KUMİD) in 2020, with the participants at Heritage Istanbul 2021. AFAM Coordinator Serhat Yılmaz, KÜMID Chairman of the Board Saadet Güner, Batman University Faculty of Arts and Sciences - Archeology Department Lecturer Assoc. Dr. Mahmut Aydın and Istanbul Conservation Restoration Central Laboratory Deputy Manager Eftal Kiraz attended as speakers. Heritage Istanbul, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, many local governments and important organizations from the private sector, underlines the developments in the field of restoration, archeology and museology in our country, and is one of the few events in the world in the field of cultural heritage in its sector.
