Within the scope of 1 - 7 March Earthquake Week, we organized a panel discussing Turkey's earthquake problem in cooperation with Istanbul Aydın University Disaster Training Application and Research Center and Career Center.

Birol DOYRANLI (Deputy General Manager of Alacalı Construction - Civil Engineer), Halil EKİNCİ (Uniteknik Yapı Malzemeleri Business Development Manager - Civil Engineer), Seyit İsmail ULUSOY (Alaca Mühendislik Technical Manager - Civil Engineer) and Yoshinori MORİWAKİ (Hazama Ando Corporation) General Manager, Civil Engineer, Earthquake Expert) participated as a panelist and moderated by AFAM Coordinator Serhat YILMAZ.

In the panel, which was held to raise awareness about the earthquake to civil engineer candidates who are educated at IAU Engineering Faculty, possible earthquakes expected in Turkey and the measures to be taken against this and the issues of creating durable structures were discussed.
