Istanbul Aydın University School of Medicine English Program was established in 2019, and undergraduate admission started in the academic year 2020-2021. The six-year curriculum of Istanbul Aydın University School of Medicine leads to a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD). Required core courses in the School of Medicine include 3-year pre-clerkship of core basic sciences in the first three years and 2-year core clinical clerkships in the fourth and fifth years followed by an internship in the sixth year. The language of instruction is English. Those who pass the English proficiency exam start a first-year program. Those who cannot provide proof of English proficiency attend a one-year English preparatory class to learn academic English.
