Hale TORUN, born in Kayseri in 1972, graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of History. She completed her master's degree in the Radio, Television, and Cinema Program at Istanbul University's Social Sciences Institute. She obtained her doctorate from Marmara University's Social Sciences Institute, specializing in Journalism. Currently a faculty member at Istanbul Aydın University's Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema, TORUN conducts research in Cultural Studies, Documentary Film, and Semiotics, and teaches theoretical courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

He was born in 1962 in Kırklareli. He studied Primary School, Secondary School and High School in Kırklareli. He completed Anadolu University Cinema-TV Department in 1985 with the documentary "Meerschaum", which he shot as a thesis film. Between 1985 and 1987, he worked as a technical director, editor and assistant director in various video films. He became Associate Professor in 1997 and Professor in 2003 at Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Cinema-TV Department, where he entered as a Research Assistant in 1997. He served as Head of the Department in 1998-2005 and as Deputy Dean in 2010-2011. Yıldız, who served as the Dean of Maltepe University Faculty of Communication between 2012-2013 and as the Dean of Maltepe University Faculty of Fine Arts between 2013-2019, served as the Director of Doğuş University Graduate Education Institute between 2020-2021. Yıldız was appointed as the Dean of Aydın University Faculty of Communication in 2022. Yıldız, who has 48 articles published in various refereed and non-refereed cinema magazines, has two books on the language of cinema, "Cinematographic Narration" and "The Language of Fiction", a published book called "Cinema Dili", of which he is the editor, and seven films that he directed.
Prof. SEFA ÇELİKSAP
Born in 1964, Sefa ÇELİKSAP graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Textile Design Department. ÇELİKSAP, who completed his master's degree in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Social Sciences Institute Applied Arts Textile Department, completed his Proficiency in Art education in Marmara University Social Sciences Institute Cinema TV Department. Professor ÇELİKSAP, who is a lecturer at Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema; carries out applied studies on Photography and Cinema, gives undergraduate and graduate theoretical and applied courses.

She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema and Television from the faculty of fine arts at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2010. Following graduation, she gained valuable experience working in the television serial industry before pursuing her academic career. She obtained her Master’s degree in Radio, Television and Cinema in 2017 and her PHD in the same field in 2022, both from the Institute of Social Sciences at Marmara University. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radio, Tv and Cinema at the Faculty of Communication, Istanbul Aydın Unıversity. Her works mainly focus, media and communication studies, masculinity, gender, memory.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğba GÜLAL

Tuğba Gülal was born in Gaziantep in 1988 and she is a PhD holder in Media Studies. Currently, Gülal works at Radio, Television and Cinema Department of Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Aydın University. Gülal was educated at Istanbul University and graduated with Bachelor degree in English-Turkish Translation and Interpreting.Following her Bachelor, Gülal then attended Istanbul University, Translation Studies department and gained her M.A. degree with honors degree.In June,2023, Gülal has attained M.A. degree from Wuhan University, Department of Philosophy and her second master study has been fully funded by China Scholarship Council. Besides, in February 2024, she has completed her PhD in Media Studies of Yeditepe University with highest honors and her dissertation focuses on epistemology of news reporting studies about Syrian refugees in Turkey. Before, Gülal has conducted her PhD research in Germany and UK. Gülal's research areas are philosophy of communication, feminist communication, news discourse, political communication and ethics.
Lecturer İbrahim Tarkan DOĞAN

İbrahim Tarkan Doğan, born in Mersin in 1979, completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Radio, TV-Cinema at Istanbul University, Faculty of Communication, and his master's degree in the Department of Cinema-TV at Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Institute. He continues his education in İstanbul Aydın University in the department of Radio, Cinema-TV, in the doctoral program. During his undergraduate and graduate education, he worked on content production and applications in brand promotion projects of advertising agencies. He gave lectures on Mass Communication Theories, New Media, Film Production and Cinema History, Introduction to Communication, Light Technique, Radio and TV Journalism in Istanbul Gelisim University Vocational School Radio and Television Programming program between 2020-2021. His fields of study include topics such as New Media, Gender, Cinema and Memory, Digital Platforms, and Digital Cinema. Since 2021, he has been working as a lecturer at Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Communication, Radio, TV-Cinema department.

Budak is a filmmaker who directs documentaries and fiction films and is also experienced in editing and cinematography. He participated in many national and international festivals and received awards for his films. Currently, he is a lecturer, and he teaches various cinema courses at Marmara University and Istanbul Aydın University. In his academic studies, he generally examines the meanings created by film fiction in the audience's perception. He continues his Doctorate program of Fine Arts studies at Marmara University Film Design Department and continues to work on the script of his feature film project.

Özlem Berkit graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism and Public Relations in 1990. She became a Voiceover Artist by winning the Voice-over artist exam opened by TRT in 1986, and an Announcer in 1988 with the Announcer exam opened by TRT in 1987. She started working at TRT Istanbul Radio in 1988. She was assigned to Ankara Radio in 1989 and transferred to TRT News Center in 1990. She has prepared and presented many news programs at TRT News Center. He hosted the main news bulletin. Özlem Berkit, who was appointed to the Istanbul News Directorate in 2000, still works as a newscaster here. In addition to his duty at TRT, she gave lectures on diction, body language, speaker, public speaking and effective communication in Special Education institutions (Capital Communication Sciences Academy, Ankara and Istanbul Bar Associations etc.). She lectured at Galatasaray and Istanbul Universities as an Instructor in Communication Faculties. Since 2014, she has been giving lectures on Speech Techniques, Presenter, Radio and Television Program Types at Istanbul Aydın University.

Özlem VATANSEVER, born in Istanbul in 1997, graduated from Istanbul Aydın University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema. After completing her undergraduate education in 2019, she pursued her graduate studies in the Television and Cinema Program at Istanbul Aydın University. After completing her graduate studies, she published her first book titled 'American National Security Strategy: The Marvel Cinematic Universe (Amerikan Ulusal Güvenlik Stratejisi: Marvel Sinematik Evreni).
