Acting is one of the most popular professions in today's world. The need for well-educated actors is increasing day by day in line with the increasing needs in the cinema and television industry, as well as in public and private theatres. The acting department is a department that aims to train educated actors equipped with the theoretical and practical knowledge of role creation. In line with this goal, it is important for people who dream of being an actor to study in the Drama and Acting department in order to reach their goals.

​​​​​​​​​​Our department has been established to educate contemporary, sensitive and creative actors in order to meet the rapidly growing need of actors in theatre, cinema, TV series and the other similar fields. Our department accepts students via special talent examination.

Department Opportunities:

1. Studying abroad through international exchange programs (1 or 2 semesters)
2. Master's degree education after graduation

Career Opportunities:

The actors who have graduated from the department can be employed by public (Turkish State Theatres and Municipal Theatre) and private theaters and have opportunity to build a career in the fields of cinema, TV, advertisement and the others.
