Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Improves the visual perception of the student and enables them to use the basic principles and elements of design competently as part of the technical skills that they will gain through practices.
Course Content	Includes the basic principles and elements of design, theoretical knowledge that will enable to analyze and comprehend the dynamics of visual perception and practice-oriented studies that will reinforce this knowledge.

1	Basic knowledge of perspective and types of perspective drawing exercises
2	Perspective drawing exercises
3	Gouache painting techniques. On the color wheel; creation of primary, secondary and tertiary colors.
4	On the color wheel; creation of primary, secondary and tertiary colors. Application of light-dark colors and color transitions within the color scale (munsell technique)
5	Composition studies (Light-dark colors)
6	Composition studies (Analogous colors)
7	Composition studies (Complementary colors)
8	Composition studies continue (stylization-deformation)
9	Midterm Exam
10	3D structure exercise, animal armature
11	Creating an animal figure (modeling) using clay or papier mache technique over the armature
