Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to enable students to know the characteristics of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and to improve their skills in evaluating and using these products in the field of food technology.
Course Content The concept of drink and development of it historically; place and importance of drinks in human life; relation of drink and culture; classification and characteristics of drinks; definition and characteristics, production, types and usage areas of alcoholic drinks, storage conditions and presentations of them; definition and characteristics of non-alcoholic drinks, their production and types and usage areas, storage conditions and presentation of them; cocktails
