Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To give informations about oil seeds and processed to students
Course Content Importance of oils in our nutrition, definition and composition of oil, storage and cleaning of oil seeds, pretreatments for oil crude production from oil seeds and fruits, oil crude production with pressure and solvent extraction, refining of crude oil and stage of refining, olive oil pruduction, hydrogenation of oils and margarine production, degradation and preservation of oils
