Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to teach the student how to evaluate the pediatric patient presenting to the pediatric emergency department with different health problems and to provide emergency nursing care. In addition, if the pediatric patient has a respiratory, cardiovascular or mental disorder, he / she is expected to perform rapid diagnosis and early intervention. Knows the signs and symptoms of pediatric diseases according to age groups and makes appropriate treatment / care Knows how to communicate with the patient coming to the emergency room and evaluate the problems. Knows the duties and responsibilities of emergency care nurse
Course Content Evaluates the child patient coming to the emergency room. Knows care and treatment. Knows pediatric triage in emergency unit. Plans and implements care for patients with respiratory disease, gastrointestinal system disease and other systemic diseases
