Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the context of transferring information about the phenomenon of space; It is aimed to explain concepts such as form, organization, place and direction, to introduce design principles and methods through the factors affecting design, and to provide an architectural perspective on the space-environment-human relationship.

2Form: Characteristics of form, basic elements of form (point, line, plane, volume)
3Form: Primary shapes, primary shapes, regular and irregular shapes, transformation of form (dimensional, subtractive, additive, additive/subtractive forms
4Format: Central / Radial / Clustered / Gridal; Formal conflicts of geometry
5Form and space: The form that defines the space, the horizontal elements that define the space, Space defining vertical elements
6Qualities of architectural space
7Spatial Organizations: Centralized / Linear / Radial / Clustered / Gridal organizations

9Circulation: Movement through space / Circulation elements / Approach / Entrance / Configuration of the walkway / Path-space relations / Form of circulation space
