Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Formation of a subject or an idea that is taught theoretically, is brought to a conclusion process, using line, color, form and other elements with abstract thoughts on a plane or transforming to perceptiple forms at locality.
Course Content It is made an exercise in class according to the given subject in program. Before exercising the subject, It is shown some examples according to the nature and the other art section. Works are made at the begining in two dimension later on, made in three dimension. Applications: Paper, color paper, thread, any kind of color pencils and other materials.

1Color Knowledge, the importance of Color in art education.
2Gouache Painting Technique - Main and intermediate colors, Nuance tone neutral colors, warm and cold colors, value date.
3Color Circle. (Gouache Painting technique)
4Color scales - Yellow + Blue, Blue + Red.
5Color scales -Yellow + Red, Black + White
6Perspective - determining the horizon line, determining the escape point over the horizon line (exit point).
7Perspective - (depth formation)
8Visual perception-figure-ground
9Mid-Term exam.
10Watercolor Technique - (emphasizing the depth formation with Watercolor technique)
11Pastel Paint Technique (Highlighting the depth formation with Pastel Paint.)
12Textural studies. (Sketch research)
13Printing studies with different textures.
14Composition and arrangements with textures.
