Purpose and Content

The aim of the course For psychologists and psychotherapist candidates, it is important to be able to analyze the cultural and social environment in which the person lives. For this reason, the political climate that constitutes our environment individually and socially and its effects on the cause and effect equation of our mental health should be analyzed correctly by us. In this context, the course aims to present a perspective to psychologists and psychotherapists by addressing the historical development of Political Psychology, research areas and methods, personality and political relations, conflict and terror, and their psychodynamics.
Course Content The basic concepts of Political Psychology, concept relations are connected with the history of psychology. The historical development of political psychology, research areas and methods, personality and politics relations, psychodynamics of problem areas such as conflict and terrorism, and psychological analyzes of current political problems in the world are included.
