Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Learning of the basic concepts in engineering materials.
Course Content Contents and the roles of the material sciences in the engineering. Classification of the engineering materials. Crystal systems. Solid solutions. Hardening and strengthening mechanisms. Mechanical properties of the engineering materials. Iron-Carbide diagrams.
