Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To introduce the basic electrical engineering concepts.
Course Content Concepts of the Electricity, units, evaluation of the properties of the basic electronic elements, understanding the basic theories, Inductance and capacity. Alternative current circuits, electrical measurements. Transformators, generators, electric machines. Semi conductors. Diots, transistors, thyristors and their applications.

2Resistance, inductance, capacity elements and functions of electrical circuits, power relations.
3Mathematical equations of capacity and inductance.
4Time series analysis of inductance and capacity
5Dependent, independent current and voltage sources
6Basic RL and RLC circuits.
7Sinusoidal sources and circuit equivalance
8Mid-Term Exam.
9Complex values, polar and cartesian presentation
10Evaluation of electronic circuits in frequency domain.
11Basic semi-conductors.
12Electronic circuits.
13Principles of main electronics components such as diot, transistor, trystor
14Basic amplifiers.
