Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The objective of this course is to familiarize the students to fundamental geotechnical engineering design problems and solutions.
Course Content Design problems in geotechnical engineering: Earth retaining structures for deep excavations, Diaphragm wall, Secant and Tangent piles, Lateral supporting elements (Ground anchors and struts), Soil Nailing, Stone Column, Jet Grouting, Compaction Grouting.
