Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To teach the importances of enzyme kinetics, fermentation and biomass kinetics, kinetics in chemical and biological systems, effects of them on productivity and efficiency.
Course Content Rate of chemical reactions, kinetics in biological reactions, biomass production, substrate consumption and product utilization. Kinetics of microbial death, enzyme inactivation. Bioreactors, immobilized enzymes and their kinetics, industrial applications.
