​​​​​​Mission: The mission of biomedical engineering is educating engineers who can solve the problems in life sciences and medicine by using basic science and engineering; can produce new technologies for diagnosis and treatment; are knowledgeable, team-oriented and effective in professional and academic communities; can practice interdisciplinary engineering. Therefore, contributing to information and technology production by doing international researches based on creativity and innovation and expanding the usage of biomedical technology to improve health services through cooperation with industry.

Career Opportunities: The graduates of Biomedical Engineering Department can be employed in private sector, hospitals, universities and public institutions. They can work as R&D engineer, production engineer, sales and technical engineer in companies which produce medical devices in private sector and they can participate in hospitals as clinical engineer and technical expert.
