Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To show how to make archieve for the medical documents and how to serve them to users' service.
Course Content The management of patients' affair; Basic definitions of medical archieves, file definition, medical documentation definition, medical documentation value and significance; The history of medical records, the use, analysis and development of medical documents; The task, characteristics and importance of medical secretary; Data-information and information system; Basic elements of the archival of patient records in health institutions ; The archives' budget, the committee of archives, archives' organization and functions; Filing, numbering, sorting of patients' documents; Indexing of files of patients, the indexing systems related to patient, doctor, disease and surgery; Legal aspects of patient files, information requests of authorities, negotiated institutions, patients and patients' relatives; The use of computer files in the archives of patient; Prefixes, stems and suffixes forming medical terms; The international classification of diseases and medical intervention (ICD)
