Purpose and Content

The aim of the course To give information about biomedical imaging techniques. This includes advanced data retrieval, feedback and imaging techniques used in routinely several diseases including cancer.
Course Content Introduction to medical image processing, Digital image formation and two-dimensional signals, The algorithms of basic image processing, Image segmentation and stabilization, image folding, image filtration and Image conversion, The processing of X-ray images, The processing of digital angio images, Image formation algorithms for computed tomography images, Image processing for computed tomography images, The processing of ultrasonography images, Image processing at the nuclear medicine and the reduction of noise, The processing of magnetic resonance images, The archiving and transportation of medical images
