Purpose and Content

The aim of the course Knowledge of fundamental algorithms in numerical mathematics, Knowledge of important algorithms and their applications such as Euclidean Algorithm, Ability to perform curve fitting and interpolation, Knowledge of error analysis, Ability to implement an algorithm in a predetermined accuracy level and interpret numerical results, Knowledge of the relation between some important mathematical algorithms and their efficient implementations.
Course Content Error Analysis, Root finding, Solutions of systems of linear equations, Interpolation, Curve Fitting, Ordering, Division Algorithm, Euclidean Algorithm and Applications, Chinese Reminder Theorem and its Applications
