Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the course; Today, the relationship between journalism and language and readers is constantly changing, and internet publishing in the world continues to develop much faster than traditional media. For this purpose, it is aimed to tell the students about the usage and contents of digital media, examples related to this, and new techniques and contents such as citizen journalism and collective journalism.
Course Content The course covers alternative sources of news and information, the concept of citizen journalism, and the structure of media organizations and news creation processes outside the monopoly and media financed by large capital groups.
