Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	In the course; As a result of the rapid development of information and communication technologies, it is aimed to introduce the theories and applications related to the delivery of public services in electronic environment and to demonstrate its practical application. The case of technology and knowledge management in the context of new media will be provided to inform about the scope of information collection, storage, processing and publishing, network of relations to be realized in electronic environment and services of public administrative units on the internet.
Course Content	With the help of such phenomena, the effects of information technology on public administration and services will be examined. As is known, there is a significant deviation from e-government and classical management concept.

The aim of the course

Course Content

With the help of such phenomena, the effects of information technology on public administration and services will be examined. As is known, there is a significant deviation from e-government and classical management concept.

Know the structural, administrative and technical features in the process of transition from conventional media to new media.

Knows processes and developments specific to interactive and participatory new media culture.
Has advanced reading, thinking and analytical analysis skills that can critically evaluate new media content.
Has the ability to integrate professional and practical skills with new theoretical knowledge on new communication technologies.
Has the ability to analyze the effects of new media on social life, economy, culture and politics.
Designs and implements media for content delivery and distribution for digital platforms.
Studies harmoniously and efficiently in groups and/or individually.
Examines research and development projects with a critical approach in order to find solutions for the problems in new media field.
Keeps an eye on the progress in science and technology.
Follows the local, regional, national and international agenda and evaluates it critically.
Conveys topics related to new media to experts and non experts in an efficient and accurate manner with written, oral or visual communication methods.
Communicates to his/her colleagues in new media field by means of using a foreign language.
Has the competence to develop new media projects.
Abstract and concrete concepts; turns it into creative thinking, innovative and original works.
Plans and manages professional events.
