Purpose and Content

The aim of the course In the course; The historical bases of the political approach, its contribution to the media and communication fields will be examined with the help of current research and theoretical approaches Along with globalization, the role of media and culture industries in the globalization process and international media issues will be emphasized.
Course Content Comparisons of public and private broadcasting systems from various countries will analyze economic and political changes from the perspective of economic, technological, political and regulatory developments, ownership, media policies and regulations affecting the global media environment. Issues will also be addressed in a variety of areas such as international relations, political communication, mobile and digital technologies, international communication, media law and global media politics.
