Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Begining 17th.to 19th century, Functions of Ottoman architectural building,Types of structures and development of material .technical and ornaments
Course Content	Ottoman Architecture in 17th and 19 th century.Development of Ottoman Architecture after Architect Sinan period.; Western effects on Ottoman Architecture style ; Turkish Baroque-and Rococo; Ottoman Architecture in 19th century: Empire and Neogotic Styles, Examples of Mosque, Tomb, Madrasa, fountain, Caravanserai, Bath, Palace, Pavilion and Kiosk and other buildings; Carectericise of Structure of Turkish House and ornaments.Kiosks in İstanbul and Anatolia, Rumelia, Western effective Wall paintings in Ottoman Buildings. Development of Turkish paintings in 18 – 19th. Century.: Native and Foreign artists ; Turkish handicrafts: carpet , Miniature ,glass, tile and ceramic .
