Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The primary goal of the course is to teach the place and significance of mathematics for the fields of economy and finance, focusing on the relation of these subjects with mathematics through practices. In addition, one of the goals of the course is to make students obtain the ability to think in a mathematical way.
Course Content Within the scope of this course mathematical subjects are covered such as numbers, functions, matrix algebra and linear programming. Mathematical subjects are covered with the help of examples from the fields of economy and finance. In addition, the subjects related to probability and statistics are taught in the form of basic knowledge with a view to help the prospective courses of the students.
