Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	The goal of this course is to provide students with a basic understanding of the basic concepts and topics in macroeconomics. It is within the goals of the course to teach the students how to reason about macroeconomical issues and to cover the bacis economic problems such as total production, how the economy works, the efficiency of different economic policies, inflation and unemployment.
Course Content	The course covers the basic concepts on measuring a nation’s income, measuring the cost of living, real economy and growth and unemployment, monetary system and inflation, open economy and short-run trade-offs.
