Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To represent the contemporary approaches to theater.
Course Content	Perormance theory, thater antropology, performance art, intercultural theater, interdisciplinary theater, feminist theater, dance theater, post-avangardism.

Learning Outcomes

Define the main areas in arts management.
Distinguish / Separate the areas such as economics, management and marketing.
Take cultural and artistic developments in the world and Turkey as reference.
Plan arts’ judicial, economical and managerial aspects.
Identify the settlement processes of institutions about arts management
Classify the acquired information due to field and project studies.
Follow the improvements about arts management in the world and Turkey.
Organize the communication between artist and audience.
Supervise the stage and entertainment arts organizations.
Configure the administrative processes of arts production.
Follow the art managements’ internal operation.
Use the concepts and terms about arts and arts management.
Use areas such as economics, management, law and marketing in the organization of culture and arts.
