Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	To analyze the art of music's historical phases and its place on individual and social life.
Course Content	Music of ancient times, religious music, monophonic and polyphonic music, the art of opera, western composers, experimental music.

Learning Outcomes

Define the main areas in arts management.
Distinguish / Separate the areas such as economics, management and marketing.
Take cultural and artistic developments in the world and Turkey as reference.
Plan arts’ judicial, economical and managerial aspects.
Identify the settlement processes of institutions about arts management
Classify the acquired information due to field and project studies.
Follow the improvements about arts management in the world and Turkey.
Organize the communication between artist and audience.
Supervise the stage and entertainment arts organizations.
Configure the administrative processes of arts production.
