Purpose and Content

The aim of the course The aim of this course is to inform the students about the historical development of childrens literature and the importance of children's books in children's mental development.
Course Content This course deals with the history of literature for children in Turkey and all around the world, the characteristics of children’s books in terms of their subjects, types and fairy tales, legends, stories and novels for children are examined.
