    How can I request a student document and a transcript?

    You can request from Student Affairs Office at F Block -1. Floor.


    Can someone else obtain my documents instead of me?

    Your documents can only be obtained by a person who you give the authorization to act on your behalf. 


  • When and where can I get my temporary graduation certificate?

    First of all, your graduation decision is announced by the Institute and " temporary graduation certificate " is prepared within 15 days after graduation date. You may receive your certificate from Postgraduate Student Affairs Office (J Block 1. Floor).


  • When and how do I get my diploma?

    Diplomas are prepared within 1 year at the latest from the date of graduation. You can receive your diploma from Postgraduate Student Affairs Office.


  • Can someone else obtain my diploma instead of me?

    A diploma can only be obtained by a person who you give the authorization to act on your behalf.


  • I lost my student ID, how can I renew it?

    You need to give the newspaper a declaration of loss of student ID. You can apply to Information Technology Department (D Block, Entry Floor) with this declaration of loss and student certificate.


  • How can I change my information such as address / phone etc.?

    You can update your information by contacting with Postgraduate Student Affairs Office. Your phone numbers and e-mail addresses should be updated to ensure that academics and administrative staff can reach you in important situations.


  • Is student attendance in classes compulsory?

    Lectures have a 70% attendance requirement.


  • How can I make contact with an academic member?

    You can reach the contact information of faculty members by searching http://rehber.aydin.edu.tr/.


  • Until when can I apply to freeze my registration?

    Registration freeze applications can be made until the 7th week from the start of the classes.


  • What are the conditions for freezing registration?

    You have to study at least one semester before freezing the registration.

    You can apply to the institute with the registration freezing form in the information and documents section on our website.

    Your application will result in the approval of the Institute Administrative Board.

    Valid excuses to freeze the registration;

    a) Regarding the profession of a student or his / her postgraduate studies, he / she should go abroad for educational purposes or be assigned to a domestic institution for the same purpose on an ongoing basis,

    b) Military obligation

    c)  Disease, natural disaster, economic difficulties that prevent further learning or obligations to work due to similar reasons, the death of a relative such as a mother, father, spouse, child or sibling, or the absence of any other person to look after them in case of illness,

    d) Failure of thesis studies of a student who successfully completes the course load because of reasons beyond their control, such as difficulties with the provision of equipment or supplies.


  • How many semesters can I freeze my registration?

    You can freeze your registration for up to two semesters in succession.


  • How can I apply for disenrollment?

    You can apply to postgraduate student affairs office with a disenrollment petition. Your disenrollment petition will be presented to Institute Administrative Board for approval, and the positive or negative result will be reported to you by Institute Student Affairs Office.


  • What Is Undergraduate Transfer within IAU?

    You can switch from one program you are registered to another program. You can apply to Postgraduate Student Office Affairs with an Undergraduate Transfer application form. You have to study at least one semester in order to be able to make undergraduate transfer.


  • How can I object to my notes?

    If you click on the "Objection" button on the "Exam Results" menu in the Student Information System, you can fill out the form and submit it to the secretariat of the institute.

     

  • Can I Retake a Lesson I Have Taken Before and Was Successful?

    You can retake the "CC" letter grade lesson in the master's degree programs and the "CB" letter grade lesson in the doctor's degree programs.

    Since FF / FD / DD / DC letter grades are accepted as unsuccessful, if these lessons are compulsory, master's degree students have to choose the same lessons, if they are elective, the students may choose the same lessons or another one approved by the Presidency of the Department.

  • What Is Make-up Exam and Who Can Attend It?

    For all courses you failed (including courses that you do not attend the final exams), you can take the make-up exams made on the dates specified in the academic calendar without making any application. You can learn the day and time of the make-up exam programs like you do for final exam programs. The grade you received from the make-up exam is considered as the grade you received from the final exam. In other words, it is not the make-up of the lesson but it is the make-up of the final exam.
